Great resource, thank you. Labelling each passage would be helpful, e.g. year 3. Pretty easy to tell the grade but it would be handy

Hi Kate, thanks so much for this suggestion. We tend to try and leave year levels off these resources as requested by members for those students who may be working at a lower level than their peers. If you still feel this is something that would help you - feel free to make a suggested resource change using the tabs above these comments. Have a lovely day!

Already an amazing addition to my ongoing assessment. Working with predominantly EAL students this is how I can show them and their parents how their fluncy is progressing. Thank you. Exactly what I needed.

It would be great if a range (literal, inferential) Comprehension questions were made for these to text not only their speed or accuracy, but their actual understanding. If you do not understand what is read, you have not truly read or learnt.

Hi Lyndsay, Thank you for your valuable feedback. I agree with you that comprehension is a vital aspect of reading. This particular resource was created in response to a member request who wanted to target fluency specifically. This is the reason that there are no comprehension questions on these particular passages. We do, however, have a wide range of alternate resources which target both fluency and comprehension. Our Reader's Theatre scripts have comprehension questions attached which relate to both the QAR and the Super Six comprehension strategies. These can be downloaded via the following links: https://www.teachstarter.com/teaching-resource-collection/super-six/ https://www.teachstarter.com/teaching-resource-collection/qar/
