Answer for question 20 is incorrect. The correct answer is $262.95. The group left a 15% tip of the original bill, therefore need to work out the original bill first before adding the 15%. Working out is: 7 x $43.20 = $302.40 Bill x 115% = $302.40 Therefore Bill = $302.40 divided by 115% = $262.95 Using calculator, replace 115% with 1.15. Reverse check: $262.95 x 0.15 = $39.4425 $262.95 + $39.4425 = $302.3925 You cannot just take 85% of the amount the group paid to get the original bill!

I think that the word of question 2 should be "how much does each pencil cost if" rather than "how much did the pencils cost?" as this implies the whole of the pencils.
