A fun activity for students to practise using multiple equal groups to represent multiplication.
Use this hands-on teaching resource when beginning to learn multiplication skills.
The resource includes:
- 3 pages of paddocks
- 3 pages of horses
- 1 Farmer Sam’s Paddocks Record Sheet
Students work with a partner, taking turns to complete different sections of the Record Sheet. A die is rolled to determine how many horses and how many paddocks will be assembled. Cut out the horses and paddocks prior to doing the activity.
