An engaging way for your primary students to practice putting words in alphabetical order.

Use this teaching resource when your primary students are first exploring alphabetical order. The images provide a scaffold, making it a bit easier for them to put the words in order.

Print out a set of the dominoes on cardstock for added durability. Cut them out and store them in a resealable bag to be used repeatedly.

Individually or in small groups, students connect the dominoes by matching the image with the word using alphabetical order.

Three blank cards have been included to create your own words if needed.

This resource is great when used as a reading center activity.
