Popping Good Father’s Day Craft Template
Use this template to create a popcorn bucket full of special words within the popcorn pieces. Students complete prompts on each popcorn piece using a pen, color the pieces, cut out, and then glue the Father’s Day craft together.
The Father’s Day prompts include:
- My Pop’s name is…
- I love him because…
- He is best at…
- I love it when he…
- He makes me happy when…
- I want to be like him because..
- Our best memory…
- My Pop is terrible at…
- I love to help him with…
- I know he loves me because…
- I wish I could buy him…
We’ve also included a few blank popcorn pieces for your students to write a personalized Father’s Day poem or note for their special guy!
✂️ Give Them the (Safety) Scissors
This template makes for a bonus cutting skills activity, depending on your students’ ages and abilities.
With adult supervision, cutting skills help students work multiple muscle groups and their brains, plus:
- strengthen finger and hand muscles
- build dexterity and fine motor skills
- improve hand-eye coordination
- develop focus and attention.
And all of these skills are necessary to use a pencil and a fork; button a shirt and tie shoes; write, type and swipe.
Scissor skills are brain and muscle skills!
