A number matchup activity to practice numbers 1-20.
Use this teaching resource to reinforce student learning with both one-to-one correspondence and counting and with subitizing.
How to use this resource:
- Print the rings on cardstock and cut them out. Write each number 1–20 on a wooden clothespin.
- Students clip the clothespins to the corresponding number of dots on the number rings.
To practice one-to-one correspondence, provide students with a set of manipulatives such as pom-poms to place one on each circle as they count to determine the total number in each pie piece.
This resource has been split into two wheels – one with the numbers 1–10 and another with the numbers 11–20 to easily differentiate for your students.
This resource is great to use as a math center activity or in your guided math groups.
